Borderline personality Disorder is impossible to defeat if we keep focusing on  our impairments and maladaptive traits. The only way to defeat this thing is to change our belief system and start building a life that we will truly love to live.

During the last two weeks, we looked at a meditative process in grounding and building a better self image by focusing on our talents and gifts. This week we will focus on one part of this life that we want to develop, establish one goal we want to achieve, and record it in our journal. On day one we will focus our attention on this goal and ask our Higher Self for one thing we can do to achieve this goal. We will expect our Higher Self to access the powers of the universe to boost our powers of self- love from the heart and the access to creative energy through the soul.  Of course, we will have to do our part by taking some action. We will then ask the Higher Self to set a strategy for the day. Each day we will check in and note the progress.  At the end of the week, we will summarize our progress towards the goal and check to see if there has been a paradigm shift in our powers of belief. Because this is a core part of the program, I suggest we continue this practice for the full five weeks, choosing a new goal each week. .Let’s put our powers of belief into practice to build the kind of life we will truly love to live.  I suggest we look at three components:

  • Personal Development – What parts of us do we like and what parts of us would we like to change?
  • Relationships – Are we happy with our present relationships? How would we like to see them changed? Perhaps we are seeking the love of our life? Or perhaps that love needs to be refreshed and renewed?
  • Vocation or work – Do we like our present vocation? Are their things about it we would like to change? Are we feeling trapped in our present work? If time and money were not an issue, what would we really like to do?
