This sensation of just being alive
overwhelms my heart
and floods my soul.
I get high on just being me,
just seeing the things I see.

Then I seek to share my vision
with those who cannot see
the soft spring green of a maple forest,
the dance of a pair of ravens
in a winter storm.

As I share my vision with vacant eyes
of vacant souls lost in their vacant minds,
I rejoice to see them come alive again
to see the spark reignited
through a touch, a smile, a laugh.

And so I live to seek
those willing to be shown
the sacredness of life,
Mother Earth’s sweet presence,
and the blessings
from the Source of life and love.
